Shedules is a small app we made to help friends coordinate hangouts. We want to be clear about what we collect and why.
What we collect
When you sign up we get your email address and, if you use Google or GitHub to sign in, your display name and provider ID from that account. We also keep whatever you put into Shedules — availability blocks, friendships, groups, hangs, polls, wall posts, your timezone, and your notification preferences.
Who sees what
Your profile, availability, and hangs are only visible to people you've accepted as friends (or who share a hang with you). If you mark your profile private, you also won't show up in search for anyone you're not already friends with.
When a friend overlays your calendar, they see your availability in full. A friend who isn't invited to one of your hangs will see that you're busy during it but not what the hang is about.
Third parties
We use Supabase for database + authentication, Vercel for hosting, and Resend for transactional email (magic links, hang invites). Supabase stores your data on AWS. Google and GitHub see your sign-in metadata if you sign in with them.
We don't sell your data. We don't have ads. We don't share your data with anyone outside of the services listed above that we need to run the app.
Your controls
Head to your profile to change your display name or timezone, toggle privacy, manage notifications, set a password, or delete your account. Account deletion is immediate and permanent — we remove your profile and all blocks, friendships, groups, hangs, wall posts, polls, and invites associated with you.
